一、个人简介

    Furrukh Mehmood 是一位植物基因组学与生物多样性领域的研究人员。于2021年7月在巴基斯坦伊斯兰堡的奎德-阿扎姆大学获得理学博士学位。完成在意大利埃德蒙·马赫基金会的博士后研究后，于2025年10月加入中国青岛科技大学生物工程学院。研究兴趣涵盖比较与演化基因组学、分子系统学、植物生物多样性以及保护生物学。

二、研究方向

   通过整合比较与演化基因组学、系统发育基因组学及分子系统学，我们旨在解析关键且复杂的植物类群的演化关系和多样化模式。通过将基因组数据与形态学、生物地理学、化石记录、地质历史及气候变化相结合，我们力求揭示驱动植物多样化、适应性及生物多样性形成的机制。我们的研究还专注于开发基因组资源和基于质体基因组的DNA条形码，以支持物种鉴定、生物多样性评估及保护工作。

三、教育及工作经历

·2023年06月–2025年10月，博士后研究员，意大利埃德蒙·马赫基金会研究与创新中心（位于特伦托省圣米凯莱阿迪杰）。

·2020年01月–2020年06月，博士研究员，芬兰赫尔辛基大学芬兰自然历史博物馆植物学部。

·2019年09月–2019年11月，研究助理，中国科学院北京基因组研究所。

·2016年09月–2021年06月，生物化学/分子生物学博士，巴基斯坦伊斯兰堡奎德-阿扎姆大学生物科学学院生物化学系。
